He have advised lenders and borrowers on high-profile and landmark leveraged finance and banking transactions. Saudi Arabia's Reza Group and Qatar’s Al-mana Group on a secured financing by CIMB for the acquisition of the franchise rights for McDonald's 390 restaurants in Singapore and Malaysia. The transfer of the McDonald's business to a developmental license model in Singapore and Malaysia was the first to be implemented in Asia.
China Development Bank Corporation in its financing of Perilya Canada Limited's US$183 million acquisition of GlobeStar Mining Corporation.
Gaw Capital Partners on a US$480 million secured syndicated loan to finance the acquisition by the consortium advised by Gaw Capital Partners of InterContinental Hong Kong from the InterContinental Hotels Group. The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited and United Overseas Bank Limited were the mandated lead arrangers and bookrunners.
